Humanities (HUMA)
HUMA 2301 The Human Experience
3 Semester Credit Hours (3 Lecture Hours)
introduces students to humanities-based inquiry by guiding them through an exploration of an ethical, moral, social, or personal issue common to, or otherwise important to, people all around the globe. Through the deep focus on a connecting theme, students will engage in discussions of topics addressing fundamental questions about human life and human interactions, develop the skills of humanistic inquiry (including critical thinking, research, digital literacy, and communication skills), and learn to apply their knowledge to their personal, professional, and academic goals in a dynamic and diverse world.
