It will be available to individuals who are seeking to meet certification requirements for the TEA School Counselor Certificate and have completed a 48-hour counseling master’s degree program (not a school counseling emphasis) from an accredited institution of higher education that was accredited or otherwise approved by an accrediting organization recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
