Professional School Counseling Certificate

Program Description

The Professional School Counseling certificate program is a post-graduate level program. It is available to individuals who are seeking to meet certification requirements for the TEA School Counselor Certificate and have completed a 48-hour counseling master’s degree program (not a school counseling emphasis) from an institution of higher education that was accredited or otherwise approved by an organization recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. This program leads to certification by the Texas Education Agency.
