Corporate Communication & Training, Graduate Certificate

Program Description

The Corporate Communication & Training certificate prepares students to excel as organizational leaders. Through five specialized online courses, students will develop knowledge and skills for leading, training and developing organizational members, managing roles and responsibilities, creating persuasive messages, and navigating crises. This stand-alone certificate is ideal for those seeking careers in corporate communication, human resources, or organizational development.

Learning Objective

  1. Demonstrate the ability to gather, interpret, evaluate, and present data for the purposes of addressing communication problems occurring in organizations.  

Admissions Requirements

Students interested in the Corporate Communication and Training certificate may apply for admission into the certificate program if they have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and if they submit the following:

  • Academic transcripts
  • Brief essay outlining reason for seeking admission into the certificate program

Students already enrolled in the MA in Communication program or another master's program at Texas A&M University-Corpus are eligible to pursue the Corporate Communication and Training and should work with the MA in Communication Program Coordinator or their advisor.
