MATH 1332 - Contemporary Mathematics3 sem. hrs. (3:0) This course serves as a terminal course and supplies a brief overview of several topics in mathematics. Topics may include introductory treatments of sets, logic, number systems, number theory, relations, functions, probability and statistics. Appropriate applications are included. This course emphasizes using critical thinking to make decisions based on information. Prerequisite: College Ready in Mathematics. Fall, Spring, Summer. TCCNS Equivalent: MATH 1332 Counts as the mathematics component of the University Core Curriculum.
