BIOL 4302 - Coral Reef Conservation

3 sem. hrs. 3:0 Survey of challenges and threats facing coral reef ecosystems in the 21^st century and discussion of conservation and management strategies. Topics include biology and ecology of reef ecosystems, climate change impacts, coaral bleaching, over-fishing and the effectivness and design of marine protected areas. Prerequisite: BIOL 3428 - Principles of Ecology.
