MATH 1324 - Mathematics for Business and Social Sciences

3 sem. hrs. (3:0) Students will learn how the properties and language of mathematics can be used in business and real-world problem solving and understand the techniques and applications of finance problems, basic matrix operation, basic counting principles, and probability analysis in modeling real-world scenarios. Prerequisite: MATH 1314 or placement beyond MATH 1314. TCCNS Equivalent: MATH 1324
Counts as the mathematics component of the University Core Curriculum.
